Freshly made sandwiches with various bread bap options are delicious, they build it to order asking which of the salad options you want. We also had some delicious vanilla slices & cream slices. I tried a cream scone but found the scone just a little on the dry side but devoured it anyway. Very polite and efficient staff.

Definitely decent value. Really authentic place, unlike other bakeries nowadays where things seem to be re baked from frozen!
If you're looking for somewhere to stop to grab a bite a few minutes off the motorways, I'd definitely recommend here - there was street parking just across the road too.Had the nicest tuna crunch sarnie on granary bread! The cakes looked amazing so we returned on Sunday to get sustanance for the road, no tuna crunch today 😭 so just grabbed some cake

The kind of bakery that every village in the UK needs!
We're full on foodies and over the last 8 years we've had bread, pies, cakes, sweet pies and sandwiches from Grange Bakery. Everything is exceptional and our holidays over the hill in Cartmel aren't the same without a family visit to this wonderful place.
In a world that thinks Gail's and "baked on site" supermarkets faux bakeries are acceptable, Grange Bakery is proof that old school is absolutely best.
We should all demand such high quality at this price (just like the French do!)
Thank you Grange Bakery.
Now please get Cockles of Cartmel to restock your bread! The current offering is not a patch on yours.- Meal type

What a great shop.! We stopped here yesterday for a brew and a sandwich halfway along our 15 mile walk.( walking the bay cycle way over 6 days! 81 miles) the two ladies were really nice. Had a lovely chat. Not rushed at all. Really enjoyed our handmade sandwiches with the best home cooked ham ever. !! Thankyou.

They have a lovely selection of cakes, breads and i believe they do take away sandwiches too. Would highly recommend.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming, only 2 people allowed in the shop at once as it is a small shop.First visit today. Had coffee and cake sat outside and both were great. Bought bread buns to take away and really enjoyed them. High quality … a true bakers and wish this was in my home town - a real asset to Grange.
A lovely small family run bakery and Cafe. Delicious home made food and mouth watering menu. Plus, the cakes are gorgeous too. Must mention the most lovely helpful friendly waitress - didn't get her name but she's served us each time we've been and she made us and our dog so very welcome. A lively find, but don't tell everyone or we might not get a seat!!
Great bakery and the staff are so friendly

The best pork pie I have ever tasted!! It was packed with flavour and the pastry was cooked to perfection! I can't wait to go back and try some more of their pies! Highly recommended. Definitely worth a visit.
The steak and ale pie was one of the best pies I've ever had. The bakery is absolutely spot on, pies, beef and gravy barm, slices of freshly made cake. Could of ate everything in that place and you can't go wrong with the price at all.
Fresh bread daily. Lovely home bakery. Got a sandwich crisps and drink on a meal deal. The fillings were more than plenty. Great value
Great selection of hand made loaves, cakes and pies and very tasty too. Slow service, but that's because Grange over sands has an elderly population and they all seem to get their bread from here.
